Secret Santa Gift Ideas for Work: The Easy $25 Gift Everyone Loves
Every year the same question lands on the shop counter: "I've drawn someone from work for Secret Santa and I have no idea what to get them." If that's you right now, take a breath. This guide is here to make it easy.
Most people I talk to want to spend between $20 and $30 on a Secret Santa gift. That's the sweet spot, and it's exactly where my favourite work gift sits: a personalised name badge or badge reel for just $25.
Why a name badge makes the perfect Secret Santa gift
Most Secret Santa gifts I help with are for a work bestie or someone people have drawn in the office or ward Secret Santa. A name badge is an easy win because:
- Everybody loves them. They're cute, fun and they show off your personality.
- They actually get used. No more novelty gifts that end up in a drawer. A badge or reel is worn every single shift.
- They're personal without being too personal. Perfect for a colleague you like but don't know that well.
- They fit the budget. Name badges and badge reels start at $25.

Secret Santa for your whole team
Want to brighten the whole ward or office this Christmas? I do bulk orders for entire wards and teams, so everyone can wear a matching Christmas name badge. It's a lovely way to build team spirit over the festive season, and patients and customers love seeing them too. Get in touch to talk about a team order.
"I have no idea what they like!"
This is the most common thing I hear, and it's easier to solve than you think. When someone comes in stuck, I simply ask a few questions:
- What's their favourite colour?
- Are they more classic and conservative, or a little bit crazy?
- What do they love outside of work? Pets, plants, coffee, sport?
From there I can create a custom order made just for them. It's the part of my job I love most, and it's the gift people always remember.
